The successor to the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation 4 is the eighth generation gaming console developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The PlayStation 4 landed in the market on November 15, 2013. The PlayStation 4 features a custom AMD processor which consists of two 28nm quad-core Jaguar modules, making a total of 8 x86-64 cores, an AMD Radeon based GPU having 18 compute units and has 8GB of GDDR5 RAM.
