Mainstreet Flower Shoppe, LLC began in 2006 in an historic building, which was built in 1890, in downtown Hiawatha at 713 Oregon Street. Kim, the Entrepreneur, with the full support of her husband, Dennis, wanted to own her own business again. Dennis and Kim Kleopfer purchased the building and remodeled it themselves in the fall of 2006 shortly before it’s opening that winter for business.Tech company advertising services

A year after opening, the fresh fudge bar was added to the business, with the fudge being made fresh onsite by Kim and her employees.
In 2009 Mainstreet Flower Shoppe, LLC received an Award of Merit from the Kansas Department of Commerce in recognition of its contributions to economic development, community service and leadership in Kansas.
