Bitcoin price will reach $100,000 by 2025

According to Bloomberg chief commodity analyst Mike McGlone, bitcoin will reach $100,000 by 2025.

Nothing needs to happen until Bitcoin's rising outlook becomes a reality, since Bitcoin supply is limited, and adoption and demand are rising.

Speaking with Kitco News

McGlone said the Fed's "sledgehammer" is putting pressure on cryptocurrencies in the short term.

He adds that as housing and bond markets fall, this may be one of the worst bear markets of the current generation

But bitcoin will trade like gold, long bonds, and 30-year government bonds. It considers that the ether is closely related to the tech-heavy Nasdaq index.

The critical aspect of cryptocurrencies is that their market value is about $1 trillion and will make a big difference in five or 10 years.

Even as stock markets prepare for more pain with the prospect of higher interest rates.

According to data from CoinMarketCap.

  • This sentiment comes as bitcoin touches $20, $ 080.12 at the time of publication
  • Decreased from about $22,500 on 13 September 2022.
  • Ethereum trades at $1469.01, down from pre-consolidation highs of $1784.00

Experts say risk assets must decline

McGlone says in order for the Fed to halt its strong rate increases in recession

  1. Markets must fall
  2. including cryptocurrencies.
  3. "I don't see what stops [the recession]...

other than low-risk assets and low access to the plateau ".

Gold, like bitcoin, will eventually appear when things recover.

The benefit of being the quickest horse in the race belongs to cryptocurrencies.

McGlone also weighed in on the recent ether merger, saying institutional adoption was likely to be driven by institutions' ability to perform reduced ether cash flow. Reduced cash flow now evaluates the investment based on future returns.

In order to fluctuate the market value of bitcoin, McGlone believes that a favourable macroeconomic environment is required. He said, I don't see that for a while.

Unlikely to occur with a 75 basis point increase

  • After favourable PPI figures earlier this week
  • Jonathan Golub, Credit Suisse's top equities strategist
  • believes the Fed is likely to pause rate hikes.

Markets have already been priced in a 75 basis point rise

according to the Be [In] Crypto report on September 14, 2022. McGlone also speaks out, rejecting the idea of a 100 basis point increase because the Fed would not want to blame him for the stock market crash.

McGlone is correct, and Tedtalksmacro provide information on how macroeconomic circumstances impact bitcoin.

The market frequently increased by 75 basis points while discounting an increase of 100 basis points. According to the FedWatch tool from CME Group, there is just an 18% chance of a rate increase of 100 basis points.

Tedtalksmacro said that a 75 basis point rise was already priced, so bitcoin should not be affected too negatively.
