Blackmail, murder, or blackmail won't get you them.

You'll get them because of tax evasion.

On Tuesday, Michael Cohen predicted that former President Donald Trump would be dropped over tax fraud allegations, just like gangster Al Capone.

Cohen, who worked as a Trump lawyer and personal mediator, spoke about the extensive investigation into the Trump Organization initiated by NewYork Attorney General Leticia James on MSNBC's "White House Deadline."

Cohen stated :

Like Al Capone, you won't persuade him to engage in murder, extortion, or other criminal activity. He went on, They come to you as a result of tax fraud.

"A lot of this, especially the easier fruit

"That was available a long time ago, so to speak," he continued, alluding to potential proof of fraud by the former president's business.

Capone, leader of the famous Chicago tax evasion gang, was convicted in 1931 instead of being charged with violent crimes.

Cohen discussed Trump's legal issues during an appearance on MSNBC and predicted that the former president would respond to them using a "playbook" that Cohen helped develop.

I think the IRS will file a criminal complaint.

Referring to courts in the Southern District of NewYork, Cohen said, "I think there's probably a criminal trial by SDNY, especially now that it's not under Trump's control.

Additionally, I anticipate that additional criminal investigations will soon be opened.

  • but remember what Donald is doing
  • and again, this is all part of the rules of
  • the game that I'm responsible for helping create.
  • There is a delay in this operating manual.

Cohen continued, calling Trump's denial a "crazy brain crap," asserting that the investigation into the Trump Organization looked like an "open and closed case of fraud."

The insider reached out to someone in Trump's press office after the presidency, but they did not immediately interact.

When James revealed the $250 million civil case in her office against Trump, his company and his adult children last week, she shouted out to Cohen.

James claims the former president lied about his wealth and exaggerated it by billions of dollars. In addition, she wants to stop the Trump family from doing business in New York.

Trump defended the fifth more than 440 times during his testimony

in New York last month, only in response to a query about his name.

  1. In contrast, Capone, a well-known Chicago gangster
  2. was charged with tax evasion in 1921
  3. instead of violent crime.

Cohen admitted to several crimes in 2018

including tax evasion, embezzlement of campaign funds and bank fraud. He was sentenced to three years in prison in December of the same year, and the NewYork Supreme Court decided to prohibit him from practicing law in February 2019.

Cohen has become more vocal in his criticism of Trump since his release.

He has commented on many of the former president's legal issues, including the FBI raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago home.

To celebrate the fall of Mango Mussolini, Cohen said he would sell T-shirts on which Trump appeared imprisoned. This week was announced.
