What is cataract?

Difficulty in seeing at night?

Blurry vision?

Cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens in the eye. This blocks the light from reaching the retina and causes unclear vision. As the cataract progresses, it causes hazy vision and may interfere with your daily activities. Cataract usually develops in people older than 45 years of age and as the vision deteriorates, the only available treatment for cataract is surgery.

Testimonials

Based on 1000+ reviews

I was examined by Dr Rushad Shroff at Kaushambi Clinic and was pleasantly surprised by his politeness and deftness when it came to my Cataract examination. A few days back another hospital had recommended Cataract Surgery with Toric lens implant with only distance vision correction, but Dr Rushad gave his genuine advise, stating that there was no need for any immediate surgery as my cataract had just stepped in. He went great lengths to examine my eye's retina and discovered minor problems plus some medicines. I have no words to thank him for his expertise and guidance and have happily decided to cancel my appointed surgery due next week and take his guidance.

Many many thnx Dr Rushad!

Have been visiting Shroff Eye Centre to Dr. Manish Malhotra since 2014 for my daughter's Cataract ( in both the eyes). She was born with cataract and Dr. Manish was the first amongst all the doctors who told us that she'll be fine and have 100% clear vision. And here we are! Today my daughter has 6/6 vision and is capable of doing anything and everything. Really thankful to him for all the guidance and medical assistance. Never met a Dr. like him. Overall, all the staff of Shroff Eye Centre are also helpful, kind and always ready to help.

Thanks to everyone for everything!
