Different Bathroom Mirror Shapes for Every Bathroom Style

After deciding on the type of mirror that would best suit your bathroom, it’s time for you to pick the right shape.

Keep in mind, however, that not all mirrors will be available in every size. A floor mirror with a beautiful, small pattern will not be found.

There are many mirror shapes that could be used in your space. Here are the most popular forms.

1. Square Bathroom Mirrors

Square bathroom mirrors have the same width as those up and down. However, they don’t need to be boring.

You can add interest to your wall by using intricate framing, illumination and mounting options.

Rectangular mirrors can be smaller than oval or rectangle mirrors and are great for small spaces. If you don’t want your laundry basket or toilet mirrored back to you, a square mirror is an excellent choice.

2. Rectangle Bathroom Mirrors

Rectangle mirrors are the most popular. They can be placed in many ways in your bathroom to maximize impact.

To create lines between your sink and the top of the reflection, you may need a mirror that is the same width as your vanity.

You can hang rectangular mirrors horizontally or vertically. Vertical hangs work well over one sink vanity or every sink in a double vanity. It is a good idea to position a full-length mirror a long way if you want to inspect your appearance from head and toe.

You could also hang a full-length mirror long and centre it above your vanity. This adds an interesting design element to your home and reflects natural light.

3. Oval Bathroom Mirrors

Oval mirrors can be a great option if you are short on wall space or wish to create a sophisticated look. Oval mirrors are smaller than their circular counterparts and can be installed in tight places. They’re a great option if you don’t have enough space but still want full-length options.

An oval mirror can add a sense of grandeur to your bathroom.

Like other shapes of mirrors, oval mirrors can be hung horizontally or vertically. Oval mirrors are available in frameless and framed options, so it is easy to match them with your existing decor.

4. Circle Bathroom Mirrors

By creating dynamic contrasts, circular bathroom mirrors can enhance the bathroom’s decor. A couple of round mirrors can soften rough edges in angular fixtures, sinks, and tiles.

On the other hand, a round mirror can complement and enhance your overall design if it incorporates soft edges or diverse shapes.

Round mirrors are a popular choice for creating a tiled or mosaic look in the bathroom. You can add dimension to your space by choosing multiple frameless spherical options in different sizes. Place them against a full-length mirror.

5. Hexagonal Bathroom Mirrors

Hexagonal or six-sided bathroom mirrors can be a great way to update a traditional style. When paired with classic marble, oval sinks and intricate fixtures, this shape creates a unique, modern look in the room.

Remember that not all six-sided mirrors are equal in size. Although the mirror is vertically hung, some mirrors have equal sides in length. This allows for dimension to rooms where a round or square mirror might not be useful.

6. Octagon Bathroom Mirrors

The octagon is most well-known for its shape as a stop sign. However, it’s also a popular style of the mirror to update a bathroom.

In certain designs, a circular mirror is enclosed in an oval frame. An eight-sided mirror is housed in an oval frame in other designs.

If you feel crafty, you can make your mirror yourself using a wooden pallet that is lying around your yard.

7. Unique Bathroom Mirrors

You have many options to beautify your space, in addition to the more traditional mirror designs.

Mirrors with unusual shapes can add interest to modern lines and complement the elaborate decor. They can even be the focal point of the bathroom.

One-of-a-kind shapes are possible in both glass cutting and framing. You might find a rectangular piece of glass that is rectangularly framed in a unique frame that will look great in your bathroom.
