A novice photographer will not be held to a high degree of craftsmanship. They are also unmotivated to provide results on schedule. It can take them many months before they provide your picture files. A casual photographer most likely will not have a contract or any other form of guaranteeing what they will perform and what you will receive. The best wedding photographers had contractual commitments and objectives. They will not take your wedding day seriously if you choose a free photographer or pay them very little.
