Can you create a healthy recipe with butter? It is possible, if you make use of Nutralite which is a probiotic butter spread. Here is one breakfast recipe that any Indian household will absolutely love! Methi Puris can be made with a touch of healthy butter courtesy of Nutralite. The recipe requires 30 minutes for preparation along with 20 minutes of cooking time. This particular recipe can readily help in serving 15-16 people at a time.


You will require ingredients like two cups of flour, ¼ tablespoon of turmeric powder, ¼ tablespoon of red chilli powder, salt as per your own preferences, ½ tablespoon of Ajwain seeds and a cup of fenugreek leaves which are fresh. You will also require 3 tablespoons of oil, a topping of Nutralite DoodhShakti Probiotic Butter Spread and a cup of water. You will have to first take flour in your pan and add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and Ajwain. Thereafter, add in the Methi leaves before mixing all the ingredients extensively by hand. You can then put in the water and oil, based on the flour quality, creating a dough which is suitably kneaded.


You have to put the dough away for roughly 30 minutes and there should be a lid covering the same. Take a sizable chunk of the dough and roll it for creating small or medium balls. Coat every dough with some oil and roll it on the board, making a round Puri. The Methi Puri should not be puffing up while you are frying the same and hence use a knife or fork for making small cuts on the Puris. You should heat oil in a pan and see whether it is ready to fry. Drop a small piece of dough to see whether it is steadily coming up. Keep the flame at the normal level. Fry puris, at least 2-3 together, depending on the pan size. Fry neatly till the Puris turn golden in color. Ensure that you put them on paper towels for curbing overall oil content and then store them in a jar. Serve the Puris with a dash of healthy butter spread for enhancing the taste.
